অনেক দিন পর দেশে গিয়ে দেখি নেকাবসহ বোরকা পরা নারীর সংখ্যা বেড়ে গেছে। চমৎকার সকল রং এবং ডিজাইনের বোরকার সাথে ম্যাচিং স্কার্ফ দিয়ে মুখ ঢাকা নারীর সংখ্যা রাস্তায় বেড়ে যাওয়া দেখে মনটা ভরে গেল।প্রতিটা সপিং মলে বাহারি বোরকা আর স্কার্ফের সমাহার যা আগে হারিকেন জ্বালিয়ে খুঁজতে হতো। আল্লাহু আকবার। মনে হলো ইসলামী সংস্কৃতির বিজয় বাংলাদেশের দরজায় কড়া নাড়ছে।
কিন্তু যখন আসল বাস্তবতার মখোমুখি হলাম তখন বুঝতে পারছিলাম না বোরকা অর্থাৎ হিজাব ইসলামের কোনো আইন নাকি সুবিধাবাদী বাংলাদেশী মানুষের কোনো ফ্যাশন. যদিও এখনও বাংলাদেশে অনেক হিজাবি নারী আছেন যারা কেবলি আল্লাহর সন্তুষ্টির জন্য উপযুক্ত পন্থায় তা পালন করেন। কিন্তু কিছু মুসলিম নারীর হিজাবের অপব্যবহারের কারনে সত্যিকার হিজাবিরা ও কলুসিত হচ্ছেন।১৫-১৬ বছর আগে কোনো ছেলে-মেয়েরা চিন্তাই করতে পারতনা বোরকা পরা কোনো মেয়ে পার্কে, রেস্তরাঁ বা রাস্তার ধারের ফুচকা স্টলে দাড়িয়ে প্রেম করবে। কিন্তু এখন সেটা হরহামেশাই দেখা যায়।শুধু তাই না, অনেক স্বামী তার বোরকা পরিহিতা স্ত্রী , কন্যাকে নিয়ে ঘর থেকে বের হয়েও পার্কে, রেস্তরাঁয় বেপর্দা অবস্থায় তাদেরকে নিয়ে বসে থাকেন। ঘরোয়া পরিবেশের অবস্থাতো আরো নাজুক, যে নারী এক্কেবারে নেকাব পরে রাস্তায় বের হন তিনিই আবার ঘরে বেপর্দা হয়ে আত্মীয় ও অনাত্মীয় পুরুষের সাথে অবাধে হাসি গল্পে মত্ত্।
অনেক বিচিত্র সকল অবস্থায় বোরকার ব্যবহার দেখে জানতে ইচছা করলো ব্যপারটা কি, বাংলাদেশের মানুষ ইসলামের পর্দা-ব্যবস্থা সম্পর্কে অজ্ঞতা অথবা এর অন্তর্নিহিত তাৎপর্যকে না বুঝার কারণেই কি বোরকার এই অপব্যবহার? এরা বোরকা পরে কেনো? আনুসন্ধান করতে গিয়ে এমনই কিছু পর্দানসীন(!) নারীর জবাব শুনে তো আমি হতবাক ! আমি যা বুঝেছি তা দাড়ায় এমন:
১) কেউ বোরকা পরেন নিজেদেরকে ভালো মুসলিম প্রমান করার জন্য যাদের অনেকেই আবার নিয়মিত নামাজ পড়েন না!
২) পারিবারিক ঐতিহ্য বজায় রাখার জন্য।
৩) বাংলাদেশের অতিরিক্ত ধুলোর হাত থেকে মুখের চামড়া বাঁচানোর জন্য নেকাবের বিকল্প নাই তাই বোরকাটা ও পরতে হয়।( কান টানলে মাথা যেমন আসে)
৪) মেয়েকে বোরকা পরতে বাধ্য করান যাতে পাড়ার বখাটে ছেলের হাত থেকে রক্ষা পায়। যদি ও বাস্তবে বখাটে ছেলেদের নিয়েই এই বোরকা পরা মেয়ে পার্কে বাদাম খাচ্ছে অহরহ তা বাবা মা জেনে ও না জানার ভান করেন।কারন অসুবিধা নাই আজ কাল সবাই একটু আধটু " ইয়ে" করেই থাকে। ( বোরকা পরে বলে কি valentine day তে সংগীহীন থাকবে? )
৫) পর্দানসীন মেয়েদের তাড়াতাড়ী এবং ভালো বিয়ে হওয়ার সম্ভাবনা বেশি। কেননা একটা ছেলে যেমনই হোক বিয়ে করার সময় অনেক ছেলেই পর্দানসীন মেয়েদেরকেই প্রাধান্য দেয় ।
বাস্তব উদাহরন: আমেরিকা প্রবাসি এক উশৃংখল জীবন যাপন কারী যুবক যখন অবশেষে সিদ্ধান্ত নিলেন বিয়ের তখন তার পাত্রীর যোগ্যতার তালিকায় প্রাধান ছিলো 'হিজাবী" পাত্রী।আবাক হয়ে কারণ জানতে চাইলে. তার জবাব ছিলো এমন :"হিজাবি মেয়ে ধার্মিক হয় অর্থাৎ আল্লাহ ভীরু হয় এবং যে ধার্মিক হবে সে সংসারী হবে। ছেলেরা বিয়ে করে সংসার করার জন্য আর প্রেম করে ফুর্তি করার জন্য।যাকে নিয়ে খোলা মেলা পার্কে-রাস্তায় আমোদ করা যায় তাকে নিয়ে সংসার করে সুখি হওয়া অসম্ভব।" জবাবটা আবাক করেছিলো বটে তবে সত্যিকারের হিজাবি মেয়েদের এমন ই তো হয়ার কথা।
কিন্তু উপরের উল্ল্যেখিত বোরখাধরিনীরা কি আল্লাহকে ভয় করে?আফসোস! এত বোরকার উপকারিতা জেনেও সঠিক ভাবে তা প্রতিপালন করার চেষ্টা তারা করছেনা।
যারা সত্যিকার জ্ঞানী তাদেরকে আর নতুন করে বুঝাতে হবেনা যে বেপর্দা আর নারী-পুরুষের অবাধ মেলামেশা সমাজে কেমন বিরূপ পরিস্থিতির সৃষ্টি করেছে এবং নারীকে কীভাবে ভোগ্য-পণ্যের বস্তুতে পরিণত করেছে তা আমাদের চারদিকে লক্ষ্য করলেই দেখতে পাই। পারিবারিক ও সামাজিক বিশৃঙ্খলা, অশান্তি, দাম্পত্য-কলহ ও পারস্পরিক অবিশ্বাস, বিবাহ-বিচ্ছেদ, নারী-নির্যাতন, এসিড নিক্ষেপ ইত্যাদি সবকিছুর পেছনেই একটি প্রধান কারণ হলো পর্দাহীনতা এবং নর-নারীর অবাধ মেলা-মেশা। কিন্তু এখন বুঝতে পারছিনা আজকের দেশের কিছু বাহ্যিক পর্দানসীন নারী আর বেপর্দা নারীর মধ্যে পার্থক্য কোথায়!
পর্দা একটি ইবাদত, সালাত যেমন ইবাদত। এটি আল্লাহর নির্দেশ। বিষয়টি নিঃসন্দেহে অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ এবং সময়োপযোগী। আল্লাহ তাআলা কুরআনের কয়েক জায়গায় ই স্পস্ট করেই পর্দা সর্ম্পকে বলেন:,
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ قُل لِّأَزْوَاجِكَ وَبَنَاتِكَ وَنِسَاء الْمُؤْمِنِينَ يُدْنِينَ عَلَيْهِنَّ مِن جَلَابِيبِهِنَّ ذَلِكَ أَدْنَى أَن يُعْرَفْنَ فَلَا يُؤْذَيْنَ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا
"হে নবী, তুমি তোমার স্ত্রীদেরকে, কন্যাদেরকে ও মুমিনদের স্ত্রীদেরকে বল, তারা যেন তাদের জিলবাবের কিছু অংশ নিজেদের উপর ঝুলিয়ে দেয়। তাদেরকে চেনার ব্যাপারে এটাই সবচেয়ে কাছাকাছি পন্থা হবে। ফলে তাদেরকে কষ্ট দেয়া হবে না। আর আল্লাহ অতীব ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়াময়।" (সূরা আহযাবঃ ৬০)
قُل لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَغُضُّوا مِنْ أَبْصَارِهِمْ وَيَحْفَظُوا فُرُوجَهُمْ ذَلِكَ أَزْكَى لَهُمْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا يَصْنَعُونَ
মুমিন পুরুষদেরকে বল, তারা তাদের দৃষ্টিকে সংযত রাখবে এবং তাদের লজ্জাস'ানের হিফাযত করবে। এটাই তাদের জন্য অধিক পবিত্র। নিশ্চয় তারা যা করে সে সম্পর্কে আল্লাহ সম্যক অবহিত। (সূরা নূর : ৩১)
আর মুমিন নারীদেরকে বল, তারা তাদের দৃষ্টিকে সংযত রাখবে এবং তাদের লজ্জাস্থানের হিফাযত করবে। আর যা সাধারণত প্রকাশ পায় তা ছাড়া তাদের সৌন্দর্য তারা প্রকাশ করবে না। তারা যেন তাদের ওড়না দিয়ে বক্ষদেশ আবৃত করে রাখে। আর তারা যেন তাদের স্বামী, পিতা, শ্বশুর, নিজদের ছেলে, স্বামীর ছেলে, ভাই, ভাই এর ছেলে, বোনের ছেলে, আপন নারীগণ, তাদের ডান হাত যার মালিক হয়েছে, অধীনস্থ যৌনকামনামুক্ত পুরুষ অথবা নারীদের গোপন অঙ্গ সম্পর্কে অজ্ঞ বালক ছাড়া কারো কাছে নিজদের সৌন্দর্য প্রকাশ না করে। আর তারা যেন নিজদের গোপন সৌন্দর্য প্রকাশ করার জন্য সজোরে পদচারণা না করে। হে মুমিনগণ, তোমরা সকলেই আল্লাহর নিকট তাওবা কর, যাতে তোমরা সফলকাম হতে পার। (সূরা নূর : ৩২)
নারী-পুরুষের অবাধ মেলামেশা এবং নর-নারীর মধ্যে চুপিসারে সংঘটিত সব অনৈতিক মিলামেশার পরিণাম কি ভয়ঙ্কর হতে পারে, তা আমাদের সম্মুখে উপস্থিত (প্রতি নিয়তই ধর্ষন, আপহরণ, এসিড দগ্ধ আর ও অনেক অদ্ভূত উপায়ে নারীরা নিরর্যাতিত হচ্ছে তার খবর আমরা মিডিয়ায় দেখতে পাই) আমরা দেখি যে, আপাত দৃষ্টে নারী-পুরুষ উভয়ের সম্মতিতে সংঘটিত অপরাধের ফল নারীকেই এককভাবে ভুগতে হয়েছে বেশি। তাই, ইসলাম নারী-পুরুষ উভয়কে শুধু পরস্পরের প্রতি সকল প্রকারের দৈহিক সংস্পর্শ থেকেই বিরত থাকতেই বারণ করেনি, অধিকন্তু লোলুপ দৃষ্টি থেকে বিরত থাকতে নির্দেশ প্রদান করেছে, যাতে করে অদম্য তাড়নার উদ্রেক ঘটতে না পারে। "Prevention is better than cure" অর্থাৎ, দুর্ঘটনা ঘটার আগে তার পথগুলো বন্ধ করাই শ্রেয়তর। এই বিশ্বজনীন মুলনীতির প্রতি ইসলামের ও সক্রিয় সমর্থন রয়েছে।ইসলামি আইনের মূল নীতি বা উসুল আল ফিকহ এর পরিভাষায় যাকে বলা হয় "সাদ্দ আল যারায়ী" যার অর্থ হচছে কোনো কিছুর সংঘটনের উপায় উপকরন বা পথকে বন্ধ করে দেয়া।
একজন নারী, যিনি তাঁর পোশাক ও চলা-ফেরায় পর্দার নিয়মাবলী বা 'হিজাব' পালন করেন, তিনি সাধারণত অন্য পুরুষ দ্বারা অসম্মানিত ও লাঞ্ছিত হওয়ার কথা না।কিন্তু বর্তমানের কিছু নারী যেসব উদ্দেশ্য আদায়ের জন্য হিজাব তথা বোরকা ব্যবহার করছেন তাতে তারা নিজেরা তো সমস্যায় পড়ছেনই এমনকি ব্যক্তিগত স্বার্থে ইসলামের পোষাক ব্যবহার করার কারনে সত্যিকারের হিজাবিরা এবং বাস্তবত: ইসলামের আইনকেই প্রশ্নবিদ্ধ করছেন এবং সর্বপরি আল্লাহর রহমত থেকে বঞ্চিত হচ্ছেন।একজন মুসলিম নারী যথাযথ ভাবে 'হিজাব' বা পর্দা-পালনের মাধ্যমে অনেক সমস্যা থেকে নিজেকে মুক্ত রাখতে পারেন, তার প্রমান আমরা যদি খেয়াল করি আমাদের আসে পাশের যারা সঠিক পন্থায় করছেন তারা খুব কমই লাঞ্চিত হয়েছেন। যদিও আজকাল রাজনৈতিক উদ্দেশ্য প্রনোদিত হয়ে কিছু গোষ্টি প্রকৃত ইসলামের অনুসরণকারীদেরকে হেয় পতিপন্ন্ করার জন্য পর্দানসীন নারীদেরকে আক্রমন করে, সেটা নিছক রাজনৈতিক শত্রুতার ফলশ্রুতি।
ইসলাম নিঃসন্দেহে পর্দাপ্রথার মাধ্যমে নারী জাতিকে মর্যাদা ও সম্মানের আসনে অধিষ্ঠিত করেছে এবং তাঁকে এমন এক নিরাপত্তা দান করেছে, যার ফলে একজন নারী অধিকতর স্বাচ্ছন্দ্যে তাঁর কাজকর্মসমূহ সমাধা করতে পারে যদি তা সঠিক উদ্দেশ্য ও পন্থায় হয়।
আল্লাহর আইনের সঠিক উপকারিতা আমাদের সঠিকভাবে বুঝার এবং সে অনুযায়ী পালন করার শক্তি দান করুক, আমীন।
পর্দার গুরুত্বপূর্ণ আয়াতগুলো যেন তুলে ধরেছেন, পর্দা তাঁর ইজ্জত আবরুর হেফাজত করে, মোমেনার সম্মান বাড়ীয়ে দেন, পর পুরুষের কুদৃস্টি থেকে নিজেদেরকে হেফাজত করতে সক্ষম হোন, এমনকি অশ্লিলতা থেকেও আল্লাহ হেফাজত করেন। কিন্ত পর্দা কোন লোক দেখানো কাজ নয়! মহান আল্লাহ তাআলার নির্দেশ। তাই পর্দা সমন্ধে আগে জ্ঞান অর্জন করা অত্যাবশ্যকিয়। এখানে লেখক যেন অনেকগুলো সঙ্ঘা দিয়েছেন এবং পর্দার গুরুত্বপূর্ণ আয়াতের রেফারেন্স দিয়েছেন। এগুলো যদি আমাদের বোনেরা ফলো করেন তাহলে অবশ্যই এ থেকে নিজেরা উপকৃত হবেন্ এবং পর্দার মতো গুরুত্বপুর্ণ একটি ফরজ সমাজে হবে সুসমাহিত।।।

Ok I understand Islam advises woman for specific dress code but what is the reason behind such dress code for woman. This actually problem of man not woman that reason women are advised for specific dress code. Sex balance of man is weaker than woman because it is not problem for woman if any man stand in their visibility in short dress with open chest but it is problem for man if woman in such custom or dress. So by born male sex balance is weaker than woman. So it isn't problem for woman but it is problem for man. My question if man able to over come this problem and able to develop sex balance then is it necessary for woman for specific dress code. Male sex balance develop due to environment or culture and it also Detroit due to culture and environment. Even in Bangladesh a man from village and a man from modern city sex balance is different. Village man use to see woman undercover if such person come in new market or other place woman without Borka but decent dress react differently where as it is not any problem for urban man because urban environment develop his sex balance. Men of western countries sex balance is thousand time higher than any man of muslim country or in these western countries Muslim men sex balance is higher than men of Muslim countries. There is some yoga exercise which help to develop male's sex balance. Now my question is--- male sex balance is weak for that reason Quran advise specific dress code for woman but modern technology or Yoga exercise or socio culture can change the sex balance of man with better sex control then is it necessary for the woman to follow 100% dress code guided by Islam?

Readers : I do agree with country man (11) .
As we have understood positively that, women should wear Burkhas to cover her beauty so that, they can be protected from the hands of weak and sick hearts in the Muslim society, as because, in the minds of Mullahs, WOMEN are the source of temptation and evil.
But problems are: Modern civilized women unlike 7th Century’s women do not like to sit idle at home, they needs to compete men in their struggle of survival. Modern women needs to work outside, drive cars, pilots Airplane, pilot rockets to the Moon or even Mars. For valid reason this Middle-aged cumbersome, ridiculous, unscientific, senseless, veiling system has, long before, become obsolete.
Actually, veiling women alone will never solve this problem. Men should learn to respect women as human being and to achieve that men should wear veils around their hearts

To "Country থেকে Anisur Rahman" at comment No. 11: Can anyone guarantee that those scientific or yoga methods (in the absence of adhering to the rules of Allah) would prevent or reduce sexual arousal or illicit sexual behavior? Allah SWT is the Creator of human kind and He is the One who know how to shape human behavior in better way.
You should read that part of my article where I have mentioned, "Prevention is better than cure". In order to prevent a problem from happening or overcome such problem, one should first recognize the problem. In the west illicit sex with consent of both parties is not considered as a problem. So they don't need any treatment for something that they don't consider as a disease. We Muslims have a completely different perspective, culture and way of life which demand hijab for woman for the benefit of the whole society as well as for both male and female.
Moreover, hijab is necessary, because:
1. It symbol is haya (shyness, privacy)
2. It develops taqwa (higher God consciousness)
3. It is a jihad that purifies the soul
4. It is a protection for sisters from the men ( that is your point)
5. It is an assertion of Islamic identity
6. Most of all it is fard (obligatory) by the almighty Allah.

আমি আনিস ও বন্যার সাথে সন্পুর্ন একমত । এমনতো না যে সব মুসলিম নারীর কাজ ঘড়ে বসে বসে শুধু বাচ্চা পয়দা করা আর ষ্টেচুর মত বসে পুরুষের মন-রঞ্জন করা । বাস্তবতা একেবারেই ভিন্ন । জীবন জীবিকার তাগিদে আজকের সভ্য জামানায় নারী জাতিকে পুরুষের সাথে পাল্লা দিয়ে কাজ করতে হয় । শুধু যে উরুজাহাজ, রকেট আর গাড়ী চালাতে হয় তা কিন্তু না , আমি বন্যার সাথে আরও কিছু যোগ করতে চাই । বাংলাদেশের প্রেক্ষাপটে আজকে মেয়ে মানুষকে স্বাবলন্বি ও উপার্জনক্ষম হয়ে বেঁচে থাকার জন্য হাটে মাঠে ঘাটে কাজ করতে হয় । গার্মেন্টস ফ্যাকট্রি , মাটি কাটতে হয় , ধান পাট কাটতে হয় শুকাতে হয় , নির্মান কাজে ইট বালি সিমেন্টের কাজ করতে হয় , শহরের রাস্তা ঘাট ময়লা আর্বজনা পরিস্কার করতে হয়, দেশে ও বিদেশে বাসা বাড়ীতে ঝি-চাকরের কাজ করতে হয় .... ইত্যাদি । আর এ সব ই করতে হয় পুরুষের সাথে সমান তালে ।
আজকের যুগে অত সব ফিরিস্তি মানতে গেলে আমাদের দেশের মেয়েরা সব না খেয়ে মারা যাবে । কিন্তু ধর্মে বলা আছে জান বাঁচানো ফরজ । তাই সব কিছুকেই যুগ উপযোগি করে পাপ ও পূর্ণের পার্থক্য বুঝতে হবে ।

এবং যারা বলে হিজাব বর্তমান সময়ের জন্য প্রয়োজ্য নয় তাকে বলব একটু ইরানে গিয়ে দেখে আসেন, মহিলারা কেমন করে জীবন সংগ্রাম করতেছে শিক্ষা দিক্ষায় মহিলারা পুরষ থেকে কম নয় চাকরি বাকরি গাড়ীর ড্রাইভিং এবং সেনাবাহিনি বিমান বাহিনিতে নৌবাহিনিতে প্রায় সব জায়গায় মহিলারা চাকরি করতেছে।
আর যে সমস্ত আলেম সমাজ মহিলাদের কে বন্ধি রাখতে চাই আমি তাদের কে বলব আপনাদের কাছে ইসলামের প্রকিৃত জ্ঞান নাই, কারন মহিলা ছাড়া মানব জাতি পরির্পূণ হয় না, তাই সমাজে মহিলা দের কে শিক্ষা দিক্ষায় অধিক আগ্রসর হইতে হবে, এবং জাতি উন্নত হওয়ার জন্য মহিলাদের শিক্ষা ছাড়া বিকল্প পথ নাই বললেই ভুল হবে না।
তাই আসুন আমরা সবাই মিলে মহিলাদের কে আধুনিক ইসলামি শিক্ষায় শিক্ষিত করে তুলি ।

আমি যে কথা টা বুঝাইতে চেয়েছিলাম কুরআন হাদিছ নিজের জায়গায় রেখে সুন্দর ভাবে সংস্কার করে জাতির সামনে উপস্থাপন করা, কারণ র্ধমিয় গোরামি ইসলাম কে ক্ষতি করে বেশি । আফু দেখেন সৌদি আরবে আমি আজ পর্যন্ত একটা মাযার দেখি নাই, এবং একটা বইতে পড়েছি আরবে নাকি অনেক মাজার গজায়েছিল কিন্তু মাওলানা আব্দুল ওয়াহাব তার ঈমানী শক্তিকে কাজে লাগিয়ে এই মাজার এবং র্ধমিয় কুসংস্কারের উপর কঠোর ভাবে বুলডোজর চালিয়ে দিয়েছেন, সেই জন্য কারো কাছে যদি একটা তাবিজ পাওয়া যায় আরবের মানুষ রা সেই টা কে থুথু নিক্ষেপ করে । কারন তারা মনে করে আল্লাহই সর্বশক্তিমান।
এবং আমি মনে করি আল্লাহ এই মাটির নিচে এত সম্পদ দিয়েছে কেন কারন তারা আল্লাহর একত্বাবাদে বেশি বিশ্বাসি যদিও বা তাদের অন্য সাইটে অনেক র্দবলতা আছে।

Actually it is 100% problem of men. 1400 years standard, level and culture of men are equivalent currently talebani dominated hilly region of Afghanistan and Paki- soitan area's men . Other places Muslim men aren't such barbarian now. When Quran was sent to our Rosul(SM) then the whole region was controlled by Barbarian men. By the history peoples of Arab Regions are controlled by Barbarian for that reason maximum prophets were sent by Allah in this region even now Arabian are barbarian like people of Taleban dominated region of Afghanistan or Paki-soitan. If Quran is for all century up to Kiamot then we have to find out the morphology behind women dress code designated by the holly Quran. My opinion is when men are barbarian like 1400 years ago Arabian or currently Paki- soitan or Afghanistan taleban dominated area with very weak sex balance then women should follow 100% dress code by Islam. 95% Muslim women in the world never use Borka or Hijab even in Paki-soitan or Afganistan non Borka , Hijab women are higher. By law Iran and Saudi Arab women have to be covered but when these women come out from their country then throw the Borka Hijab. Women can argue this problem of men for lower sex balance when men develop their sex balance then why they will keep under 100% cover. In our country male sex balance can allow women to wear shari , salowar kamiz without Borka and our men don't have any problem to see women in these dress without Borka and 95% women wear such dress in Bangladesh where as talebani dominated Paki-soitan or Afghanistan men's sex balance is lower than men of Bangladesh. This sex balance have cultured on condition of environment of society. Bangladeshi men sex balance isn't like sex balance of western country. We are living in these western countries for long time so we able to develop our sex balance due to environment. I myself don't feel any problem to bring my son to swimming training in pool during ramadan and I am fasting and in front of me half naked women because my eyes my reflex my sense every thing use to with it nervous system develop mind control due to environment. This is applicable for all Muslim men who live for more than 10 years in the western countries where as when I came from Bangladesh then I can't imagine this. Actually my this experience strike me to think about dress code for women in differently. Actually what happen every Saturday I bring my son to swimming pool for training and in the ramadan I bring my son in that way then suddenly realise today I am roza and become shakely why I come here but I am realy surprised when I don't feel any thing in front of half naked women. Then I see all Muslim men who live in these countries for long time able to develop mental resistance and sex balance. So this is the 100% problem for men and it isn't problem for women. For this reason I write my comment in that way if men can develop their sex balance then is it necessary for women to wear Borka.

তাই এদের উত্তর দেয়ার কোন প্রয়োজন নাই। "সুম্মুম, বুকমুন, উমিউন, ফাহুম লা ইউমিনুন"। এরা যুক্তির ধার ধারেনা। এদেরকে আল্লহর হাতে ছেড়ে দিন। এরা ইওগাতে বিশ্বাসি (যেন যোগীরা সেবাদাসি রাখেনা) কিন্তু রোজা রাখায় বিশ্বাসি না। এরা কুরআনে বিশ্বাসি না কিন্তু অপ-বিঞ্গানে বিশ্বাসি কারন এরা বিশ্বাস করে ঐসব বসতা পচা গবেষণা যাতে বলা হয় আল্লাহ সমকামি হিসাবে মানুষকে বানি্যেছেন (নাউজুবিল্লাহ) অতএব সমকামিদের কিছু করার নেয় এদেরকে সমকামী হিসেবেই থকতে হবে। এটা অপরাধ নয়!
এদেরকে একমাত্র আল্লাহ সুবহানু ওয়া তায়ালাই হয় হেদায়েত দেবেন ন হয় শাস্তি দেবেন। কতইনা খারাপ এদের এই রুজির উপায়।
আল্লাহ আমাদের সরল সোজা পথে রাখুন এই কামনা করি।

আনিসুর, সারা, প্রিন্স, বন্যা এরা আসলে চকুরি করে ইসলাম বিরোধিতা কারি কোম্পানীর। এরা অবিশ্বাসি। তাই এটাই এদের মূল কাজ, আট ঘন্টা অফিসে বসে কোথায় কোন আর্টিকেল ইসলামের পক্ষে যাচ্ছে তা বাহির করে শয়তানের সহযোগী হিসাবে এর বিরোধিতার দায়িত্ব পালন করাই এদের কাজ। অতএব, এদের প্রচুর সময়। লক্ষ্য করুন এ ধরণের প্রতিটি আর্টিকেলে এদের মন্তব্য পাবেন একাধিক। অথচ আপনার আমার এত মন্তব্য করার সময় নাই।
এরা আল্লাহতে বিশ্বাস করেনা, অপবিজ্ঞানে বিশ্বাস করে। এদের বিশ্বাস ইওগাতে, রোজা রাখায় নয়। ইওগা দিয়ে এরা এদের কামরিপু একেবারে নিঃশেষ করে সন্যাসি হয়ে গেছে।
সমকামিতা এদের কাছে অপরাধ নয় কারন এরা অপবিজ্ঞানের বস্তা পচা গবেষণায় বিশ্বাসি। সমকামিতার জন্য এরা আল্লাহকেই দায়ি করে (নাউযুবিল্লাহ)। যারা গবেষণা করে তারা জানে অর্ডারি গবেষণায় এমনকি সিগারেটে কোন ক্ষতি হয়না তাও প্রমাণ দেয়া যায়।
কোরানে বিশ্বাস করা এদের জন্য কঠিন কিন্তু অপবিজ্ঞান যা বলে তা এরা নির্দিধায় মেনে নেয় (এতে এদের কঠিন ইমান), এর সবকিছুই এদের কাছে অভ্রান্ত।
মোল্লাদের উপর এদের দারুন রাগ কারন মোল্লাদের জন্য এরা মন ভরে অপরাধ করতে পারেনা। মোল্লাদের জন্য সমকামিতার মত কাজ ও এরা নিশ্চিন্তে করতে পারেনা। সব সময় ভয় কোথায় মোল্লারা আবার দেখে ফেলে। তাই মোল্লাদের চরিত্রহরণ এদের আরেকটি প্রধান কাজ। এরা "সুম্মুম, বুকমুন, উমিউন, ফাহুম লা ইউমিনুন"।
তাই বিশ্বাসী ভাই এবং বোনদের কাছে অনুরোধ এদেরকে আল্লাহর হাতে ছেড়ে দিন। আল্লাহ হয় এদের হিদায়াত দিবেন অথবা শাস্তি বিধাণ করবেন।
পরিশেষে মুমিন ভাই বোনদের সালাম দিয়ে শেষ করছি।

আমার প্রশ্ন হছ্ছে আপনি মেয়ে মানুষ ও হেজাবের যে সব ফিরিস্তি দিয়েছেন তা যুগউপযোগিতো নয়ই বরং ক্ষেত্র বিশেষে ইসলাম সন্মতও নয়। বাংলাদেশের বাস্তবতায় অন্ন বস্ত্র বিহিন দরিদ্র নাড়ী সমাজের যে বিচিত্র পেশা তা কখনো নিজেকে আপাদ মস্তক ঢেকে পালন করা সন্ভব নয় । তাছারা ঐ সবক্ষেত্রে হেজাবের প্রয়োজন আছে কিনা তাও ভেবে দেখা দরকার । এমনতো না যে, যে মেয়েটি শাড়ী পড়ে রাস্তায় মাটি কাটছে , তাকে আপাদমস্তক হেজাব না থাকার জন্য দুর্বল চরিত্রের পুরুষরা ধরে নিয়ে যাবে । যাকে ধরে নিয়ে যাবার তাকে হাজার হেজাব দিয়ে ঢেকে রাখলেও কোন কাজ হবে না । এর জন্য প্রয়োজন কঠর রাষ্ট্রিয় আইন ও আইনের যথাযত প্রয়োগ । দুর্বল চরিত্রের দুর্বৃত্ত পুরুকে শায়েস্তা না করে মেয়েদের কালো কাপর দিয়ে ঢেকে রাখা দুষ্টের পালন ও সৃষ্টের দমনের মতই মুর্খতা ।
বাংলাদেশে যে যৎ সামান্য মেয়ে(৫-১০%) ইসলামি হেজাব প্রথা মেনে চলে তারাও বিভিন্ন ভাবে পুরুষ/স্বামী কতৃক নির্যাতিত হছ্ছে । পত্রিকার পাতা উল্টালে এ ধরনের খবর অহরহ দেখা যায় । বন্ধু আনিস(Country থেকে Anisur Rahman) এর ভাষায় বলতে হয় পাকি-শয়তান ও তালেবান শাষিত আফগানিস্তানে হেজাব পরা মেয়েরাই পৃথিবীতে সবচেয়ে বেশি নির্যাতনের শিকার । ঐ দুই দেশে পা থেকে মাথা পর্যন্ত আবৃত মেয়েদের রাস্তা ঘাটে পুরুষ কতৃক মধ্যযুগিও চাবুক মারার দৃশ্য আমরা টেলিভিসনের পর্দায় দেখেছি এবং দেখছি ।
নারী নির্যাতন বন্ধে হেজাব দিয়ে কাজের কাজ কিছুই হবে না । এর জন্য প্রয়োজন মধ্যযুগিয় পুরুষ শাসনের আইন । তাছাড়া ৭০০ শতকে যে বাস্তবতার প্রেক্ষাপটে মেয়েদের উপর এমর্বাগো জারি করা হয়েছিল ২১ শতকে এসে সেই বাস্তবাতা আর নেই । পবিত্র ইসলাম ধর্ম অবাস্তব ও ইউসলেস আইন কখনো সমর্থন করে না ।
অতএব ধর্মীয় মৌলবাদ ও কুসংস্কারের অন্ধকারে ডুবে না থেকে নিজেকে উদার/মহান ইসলামের আলোয় আলোকিত করুন ।

আমার বাসায় আমার বড় ভাই প্রায়ই বেড়াতে আসে, বিশেষ করে উৎসব আনন্দে ।মাঝে মাঝে ভাইয়ে দুই এক জন বন্ধুও ভাইরের সাথে আসে । বড় ভাইয়ের বন্ধুরা সবাই বিশিষ্ট ভদ্র লোক ।আমি আমাদের পারিবারিক ও সামাজিক প্রথা অনুযায় সবাইকে আদর আপ্যায়ন করে থাকি ।
আমি আর দশটা মেয়ের মতই সাধারন সেলওয়ার কামিজ পরেই সবার সামনে যাই । এতে আমার কোন আসুবিথা হয় না বা যাদের সামনে যাই (মেয়ে,পুরুষ) তাদের দিক থেকেও কোন আপত্তিকর কিছু কখনো চোখে পড়েনা ।

Due to men's lower sex balance and Allah gives dress code for women such as Borka Hijab alone with full clothing. When this verse came to us then peoples are barbarian without proper culture. Allah gives women's dress code and we have to find out the reason behind such instruction. This is problem of men it isn't problem for women. Women don't have problem if any almost undress man in front of them because women sex balance is higher than men but men can't tolerate this. This is the weakness of men. So men have to develop their weakness by natural process. What the reason Bangladeshi men don't have problem to see women in shari shalowar kamiz without Borka where as Arabian, Taleban dominated Paki-soitan, Afghanistan men can't tolerate this or Mullah of Bangladesh can't tolerate this because these men's sex balance is too low. Here main problem is men sex balance and this balance will develop and control by personal will force. This is men job to develop mind control about sex. In 7th century sex balance of men in the whole world almost same but now sex balance of develop western country's men is too high and Muslim country's men is low as well as talebani area's men are like barbarian. We can't follow western culture but we can follow natural process like Bangladesh. Allah created male and female and HE (SWT) knows the situation and nature of men and women very well and HE (SWT) has provided us all the rules and regulations based on our nature , so that, there will be a peace and harmony in the society and at the same time we can attain HIS mercy. So misunderstanding, misapplying, and refuting any of HIS command, definitely will bring corruption in any society and we are witnessing very clearly how our family structure is falling apart on top of that societal diseases is multiplying day by day. In absence of Islam in our every day life affairs, lack of proper Islamic culture, male dominated society, abusing women in the name of Islam, in the mosque Islam out side the mosque myIslam , influence of other culture and tradition and misinterpretation of Islam causing deep mistrust among ourselves. Now we are so lost, even we are started accusing Allah and His justice. Now we accept only those rules of Islam, which satisfies my desire and we reject those rules which one goes against my desire. Based on our own logic we already changed the definition of family, marriage, housewife and role of a male and female. Now for women taking care of the household affairs, working in the kitchen, and raising children viewed as humiliation, abuse, backwardness and child making machine. Because in this world there are societies those who carry different concept of women liberation and rights than Islam. In Islam male and female are created with different structure by the Creator with specific responsibilities not with equal rights. Due to nature of their body structure Creator provided female with extra privileges than male. Due to nature of the body different dress code. For women Hijab (dress code ) only requires when they go outside of their private domain. Only Allah ( SWT) knows why they have to maintain Hijab when they go outside of their house. We can argue in our whole life, but we will never ever will be able to comprehend the wisdom behind. Only God fearing Muslima will accept this command as a blessing from Him. We should not view wearing Hajib meaning going to Jannah. Wearing Hijab is just one command from Allah. There are also many commands related to man and women which we must follow strictly. So Hijab is not just only obligatory command for the women, there are more commands for the women they must adhere.. This does not mean , however, that the woman is confined to the house only. Allah has created the woman to work in private life as well as public life . It is an obligation on her, to seek knowledge. Allah also allows woman to do business, owning property, trading and increase her wealth. She has every right to conduct her personal business with the permission of her husband based on Islam. In every religion there is a dress code for male and female and nobody dare to raise any question. But when Muslims Hijab( Dress code for women) comes , every body jumps including Muslims. When I say Muslim, meaning by name. .Because in Islam name has nothing to do with Muslim. All of our Sahabi after embraced Islam they did not change their old name.,Our beloved Prophet use to honor Hazrat Osman with Gani ( rich) Hazrat Abu bakkar with, Siddique,(trustworthy), Hazrat Ali with abu Torab,( father of dust) and hazrat Omar with Faroque,( who could distinguish right and wrong clearly) . In fact actions, understanding and transaction will define who is Muslim or not.

Hijab is a command from Allah to his female servants , when she goes out from her private domain. Hijab will not give any kind of guarantee for proper Islamic behavior. Hijab is not a absolute proof of Muslima. Any women can ware Hijab for her own purpose. Any body can use hijab to hide her identity. Now how we will know who is wearing hijab to please Allah and who is wearing Hijab to satisfy her own desire. So, let us not judge the concept of hijab based on some individual improper behavior. Let us not use our own logic to accept or to reject the command ( hijab) of Allah. Let us except as command of Allah and who ever rejects, it is his or her own business. Those who are wearing hijab they must pay extra attention when they behave in public. So there is no room for logic to judge the benefit of Allah command. Allah said, all my commands is for the benefit of my servants. We do not know the benefit if Allah did not inform us. On the other hand do we have any choice not to follow his command , even if our modern science find out that fasting cause some kind of disease?? Why we are wasting our time to look for benefit?? Is this is not enough for us that Allah will give us reward if we follow His command. Does slave has any choice even if Master ( God) does not offer any thing instead?? The Prophet said that “the best row (in congregational prayer) for men is the first, and the worse is the last. And the best row for women is the last, and the worse is the first” (Sahih Muslim). Now, if started arguing based on logic and Godless mind what is the reason behind, if it is not there, then we will come up with different understanding. Those who will be strong believer, they will say this is a command from the Creator and HE has the full Knowledge and the wisdom behind of that Hukum. Our job is to obey HIS command. We are just a slave of the Creator.
When a child is born a thanksgiving feast called ‘Aqiqah’ is held. For a male child two animals (according to ability)has to sacrifice, but a female child requires the sacrifice of only one animal. Same way, logic and godless mind will not be able to comprehend the wisdom of Allah regarding this ruling. Angels are neither male nor female the Qur’an mention. There was never a woman Prophet. How Godless mind and logic will be able to find out the reason behind?? Our beloved Prophet declared that all of mankind (male and female) would stand before Allah, on the Last Day “as equal in His sight as are the teeth of a comb.” How logic and Godless mind will be able to find out the reason behind?? Those who are trying to find the logic behind the ruling of Allah , in fact they are just wasting their time and they will be more confused . Allah did not left for us any room in the Hukum for addition on deletion. But He has given us the choice to accept or reject his Hukum.

Thanks for your balance comment. Any way in my observation it is problem of men. Sex balance of men is variable due to the social condition. In western country men's sex balance is so high they don't have any reaction in front of undressed women. Bangladeshi men's sex balance is higher than talebani dominated Paki-soitan or Afghanistan because our men haven't any problem to see women wearing Shari or Shalowar Kamiz without Borka hijab but talebani men can't tolerate that. We have to find out why Allah gives specific dress code for women and HIS verse will be applicable up to Kiamot. It is proven that due to weak sex balance of men , women have follow dress code and in 7th century men are almost barbarian level but now except Arabian or talebani dominated Paki-soitan or Afghanistan region men aren't barbarian like 7th century .Arabian are by historically barbarian that reason Allah sent maximum prophets in that region. 1 lac 33 thousands poigambers can't discipline the Arabian and they are still barbarian now.

What do you mean by "sex balance"? Did you invent the word? You can be your own lexicographer but you should define the meaning of the word. Not sure if the word "sex balance" has any wide acceptable meaning.
Are you really a muslim? Look like you're fasting but at the same time you're concluding that the 'burka' is only required in certain part of the world not everywhere. Does holy Quran say so? Isn't the command of holy Quran for everywhere?
Look like you have strong hatred toward Arabs, Pakistan, and Afganistan. I can understand strong hatred toward Pakistan. But why for Arabs and Afganistan? You should be thankful to Arabs for their great contribution to Bangladeshi economy. Can you imagine what will happen without our labors being in Arab world? Seems like you're living in western world. Will the western world take our labors? Is our labors skillful enough so they will be absorbed by the western world? How many labors are in the western world compared with the Arab world? I care less about their barbarianism, I care rather about our economy.
You probably do not know that because of those barbaric Arabs and their religion we are not untouchable. Otherwise, you, me, everyone in Bangladesh still be untouchable. So, be thankful to the Arabs.
Also, you live in the civilized western world, at least you claimed so. You don't feel anything if you see half-naked women. The reason for that is you may have health issues. Do the westerner feel the same way? Do you know the statistics of women rape in western world? Compared the statistics of rape cases of western world such as, Canada, USA with the barbaric Arab world. The rule in Saudi Arab and Iran about obligation for women to wear borka hijab is against the spirit of Quran Hadis. Quran advise so many foraz things for Muslim and women dress code is one of them. These things Quran never advise to make state laws. Ok just in Saudi Arab and Iran make law for compulsory for women to wear borka because it is advised in Quran to practice in same way so many things advises in Quran to practice such as 5 times pray in a day or roza or Hazz etc so if those gov make law to pray 5 times otherwise punishment or to keep roza otherwise punishment, men have to keep beard etc then is it reflect the spirit of Quran Hadis. ? Sex balance mean Jouno Bharsammo--- I don't invent any word. I don't like to give again lecture of weaker sex balance of men than women. Women abusing mean raping, beating, torturing or depriving women. These things are highest in Muslim countries than other countries. Then the Sharia laws shown bellow come into force.
1. From Pakistan Hudud Law - Ordinance 1979. (Ordinance VII of 1979 amended by Ordinance XX of 1980). Quote- "Proof of Zina (adultery) or Zina Bil-Jabr (rape) liable to Hadd shall be one of the following:-
(a) The accused makes confession, or
(b) At least four Muslim adult male witnesses”. - Unquote.
2. From Codified Islami Law (“BidhiBoddho Islami Ain” - Islamic foundation
Bangladesh) Volume 1:-
(A) "Proof of adultery or rape liable to Hadd shall be one of the following:-
(a) The accused makes confession, or
(b) At least four Muslim adult male witnesses – Law#133.

(B) If force is proved, the rapist will be punished – Law#134.
(C) “Punishment will take place when zena or rape will be proved by witness” –
Law#135.
Sharia needs only one thing to punish the rapist, - eyewitness of four adult Muslim men.
Unbelievable it may seem, women’s witness is rejected, as in the references bellow:-
1. Hanafi Law-Page 353.
2. Shafi’i Law- page 638 Law#o.24.9
3. Criminal Law in Islam and the Muslim World –page 251
4. Tafsir of Translation of the Qura’an by Muhiuddin Khan pages 239 and 928.
5. Penal Law of Islam – Kazi Publications Lahore- page 44 – 45 – Quote - “The
evidence required in a case of adultery is that of four men (adult Muslims) and the testimony of a woman is such a case is not permitted………the evidence of women is originally inadmissible on account of their weakness of understanding, want of memory and incapacity of governing” – Unquote. Effort of addressing this embarrassment is in Codified Islamic Law (Bidhiboddho Islami Ain - Islamic foundation Bangladesh) Volume 1 page 311 with reference to Ata Ibn Yasar (RA), Hammad (RA) and Imam Hazm, a Spanish Palace-clergy of 15th century, - by allowing women-witness as half of men’s. As reported in the Daily Star on 7th July 2003 (and many other cases) three rapists raped a girl in front of her mother in Kolyanpur. If this case goes to Sharia Court there is no way to punish the rapists. Another serious blockade is that no cir**stantial evidence is accepted except eye-witness. Sharia books constantly maintain what Mawdudi claimed - slightest change or modification in Hudud Laws is notpermitted even if world’s all Muslims univocally want it (Islamic Law and Constitution -page 140). On this ground in May 2005 the Lahore High Court had to reject the lawyer’s plea to do DNA-test of a baby and the accused adulterer in adultery case. Quote: - “The judge observed that DNA tests might be an important piece of evidence for a husband to establish an allegation of Zina against his wife….The DNA test may further help establish the legitimacy of a child for several other purposes.

First of all let me ask from where did u get or invent the word "Sex Balance"? I never heard of such a word or terminology neither from any doctor nor and psychiatrists? may be u consider urself as one of the greatest doctors or psychiatrists? even though, for the sake of arguement, i take ur word correct (may be u have tried to mean control of emotion or feelings or sexual urge seeing a person from opposite sex).
Before going in to details of ur 'sex balance', let me ask u how old r u? ok let me suppose that u r a man of 40 - 50 years old. Now, do u think the sexual urge of a 40 -50 years old man (who is married and has kids) and the sexual urge of 18 - 30 years old man, regradless of marriage or sexual experience, will be the same? do u think that both will act same, seeing a naked or half naked woman/girl. if u think or expect same action or same behaviour from both of them , then i will think that u r nothing but a fool (বেকুব কোথাকার)।
The same question is applicabe for girls/women also. A girl of 15 -30 years will act different from a woman of 45-50 years seeing a half naked or naked boy or man. These are the dark places of human nature and behaviour. thats why the quran always warned us. "Dont walk in the path of shaitan" , "dont even think of adultery (sex without marriage)". that's why Allah has made hijab obligatory for women. because, earning livelihood for the whole family is the responsibilty of the husband not the wife. still if any requrement comes when a woman needs to go out of the house should cover herself to protect her from the weak character men. Yes I agree with sex balance vary with age but our debate is wearing Borka Hijab. In Muslim country no women wear nude dress but 95% never wear Borka Hijab and that things lot of time I mention. I don't think men of any age will have problem in our country to see women in Shalowar Kamiz or Shari without Borka. These dress aren't nude dress. I never advise dressing like western women but I am arguing against Borka Hijab. I also claim the law for Borka Hijab in Saudi Arab and Iran against spirit if Islam because it is going verse 256 of Sura Bakara. If forceful law of Borka wearing is acceptable then why no law if not praying 5 times a day or not keeping roza are subject to punishment by state gov. Quran advise us to follow the guide line but there is no scope to force.

ফাহমিদা আপাকে ধন্যবাদ এমন একটি যুগোপযোগি লিখা উপহার দেয়ার জন্যে। এ হতে যারা উপকার পেতে চাইবেন, তারা ঠিকই তা পাবেন, আর যারা আল্লাহর আদেশ অমান্য করে মনগড়া মতো চলবেন, তাদের ইহ-পরকাল দুটোই ঝরঝরে, এতে যে সন্দেহ পোষন করবে তার ঈমান যে কচুপাতার উপরের শিশিরবিন্দুর ন্যায় তাতে সন্দেহ নেই। আমার মতে, যারা ইসলামের প্রর্দা প্রথার বিরোধিতা করতে গিয়ে নারীর মর্যাদা রক্ষায় নিবেদিত এক কলম সৈনিককে বিশ্রী ভাষায় গালমন্দ করছেন, তারা চান না, নারী তার মানসম্ভ্রম নিয়ে কোরআনে বর্ণিত সম্ভ্রান্ত মহিলার পরিচয়ে সমাজে বিরাজ করুক। নারী সমাজের জন্য, সর্ব অবস্থায়, সর্বকালে আল্লাহ নির্দেশিত পর্দাপালন কতটা জরুরী তা আমার ব্যক্তিগত অভিজ্ঞতা সঞ্জাত নিম্নে প্রদত্ত দু’টি চিত্র হতে আন্দাজ করা যায়ঃ
চিত্র ১ঃ একটি সরকারী অফিসের কর্মকর্তা তাঁর অপর এক সহকর্মীকে তাদের অফিসে নুতন জয়েন করা সুন্দরী, স্মার্ট এক মহিলাকে দেখিয়ে বলছেন - “ভার্সিটিতে পড়াকালীন ঢাকার রাজপথে প্রতিদিন এমন কত সুন্দরী দেখতাম, আর তাদেরকে মনে মনে বিছানায় সঙ্গী করতাম, যদি এই ......... টা বাস্তবে হতো, তাহলে আজ ঢাকার অলিতে গলিতে সব আমার ছেলেমেয়েরা কিলবিল করতো”।
চিত্র -২ঃ একই অফিসে আর একদিন। সেই একই অফিসার তার অফিসেরই অন্য এক সহকর্মীর কলেজ পড়ুয়া যুবতী মেয়েকে লক্ষ্য করে (মেয়েটি তার বাবার কাছে কোন কাজ নিয়ে এসেছিল) বলছে -“মাইরী দারুন মাল একখান, ইস, কিযে সেক্সী”, আমার তো খবর হইয়া যাইতাছে”।
বলাবাহুল্য ইনি কোন মোল্লা মৌলভী ছিলেন না, বরং আনিসুর রহমান, কুয়েতি হুসেন, মিজ বন্যা ও তাদের সমগোত্রীয় মডার্ন খেয়ালের আধুনিক শিক্ষিত স্যুট-টাই পরিহিত সম্ভ্রান্ত(?) ব্যক্তি ছিলেন। এর পরেও কি কোন আত্মমর্যাদাশীল পুরুষ বা নারী চাইবেন যে তার কন্যা, ভগ্নী বা পুত্রবধুরা পর্দাহীন হয়ে মি. আনিসুর আর মিজ বন্যাদের পরানো পোশাকে রাস্তাঘাটে কিংবা অফিস আদালতে ঘুরে বেড়াবে?
পর্দাপ্রথার সমর্থকদের বলছি, আপনারা সবাই যার যার অভিজ্ঞতার ঝুলি হতে এমন সব বাস্তব কিন্তু সত্য ঘটনা, মন্তব্য এবং নাটকীয় কাহিনী এ মন্তব্য কলামে তুলে ধরুন, যাতে এত কিছুর পরেও যাদের অন্তরের বদ্ধ দুয়ার খুলেনি, তাদের কিছু হলেও হুঁশ হয়।

Tell me why Shari and Shalowar kamiz are nude dress? 95% Muslim women in our country as well as whole world never use Borka but they wear decent dress like Shari or Shalowar Kamiz then why such dresses are nude dress? In Paki-Soitan 80% women don't wear borka Hijab then they are half nude. Except Saudi Arab other Arabian country's 80% women never wear Borka Hijab but they wear decent dress then why you like to say those dresses are nude dress? The women in Bangladesh about 95 % Muslim women never use Borka Hijab then how you tell them half nude like western women? In Saudi Arab and Iran as well as talebani area of Paki-soitan and Afghanistan women force to use Borka Hijab that not due to fearing of Allah but fearing the so called Islamic ruler. How do you feel if gov makes law for not praying 5 times a day or not keeping roza etc are subject to punishment by the authority because these are compulsory for the Muslim? Although Allah says in Sura Bakara in verse 256 there is no force and press or stress in religion and by ignoring this verse if gov implement law as punishable offence not praying or keeping roza etc then is it acceptable? If it not acceptable then why Saudi Irani law for enforcement to wear Borka Hijab among women is acceptable. Is this law not going against verse 256 of Sura Bakara? Gov law can't force any advise of practice of religion-- if they make one advise as a law such as wearing Borka Hijab then they must make other advises as law such as compulsory to pray 5 times a day or keep roza and Hajj etc and for not complying these will be treated as punishable offence.

ইসলামের ৫ স্তম্ভের ৪ টি নামায, রোযা, হজ্ব, যাকাত ইসলাম গ্রহনের পর পালন না করলে ইসলামি রাষ্ট্রের ক্ষমতা বলে তা বাধ্য করতে হবে। এটা ই ইসলামের আইন, দূর্ভাগ্য যা তেমন রাষ্ট্রের আভাব। সাউদি আরবে ১০ বছর আগেও তার কিছুটা চর্চা ছিলো, দিন দিন উনারা uncle sam এর আপনজন হছেন আর আল্লাহর থেকে দূরে যাছেন। তবে এখন ও সাউদিতে নামাযের সময় দোকান পাট বন্ধ করা বাধ্যতা মুলক। ইরান নিয়ে দীর্ঘ পর্যালচোনা দরকার, তবে আমার আপনার মতো আজসর সময়ের আভাব থাকার দরুন শুদ্ধু এইটাই বলি " ইসলামের কিছু আইন ইরান পালন করে তার চেয়ে বড় কথা হলো, ইরান কাউকে তোয়াক্কা করে না, তাই হয়ত আপনার মনযোগ আর্কষন করেছে। কিন্তু বাস্তবিক ওরা আমাদের রাসূলের উম্মত (অনুসারি) না, ওরা সিয়া সম্প্রদায়"
বোরকা পরলেই হিজাব পালন হয় না, লেখিকা সেটাই বুঝানোর চেষ্টা করেছেন। সেলওয়ার কামিজ বা ৫ হাত লম্বা শাড়ি দিয়ে যদি শরীর ঢাকা যায় কোনো ক্ষতি নাই। আমার নিজের পরিবারে আনেকেই ঢোলা সালোয়ার কামিজ সাথে ওড়না বা বড় স্কার্ফ দিয়ে মাথা ও বুক ঢেকে চলেন যা ইসলামের ফরদ আদায় হয়ে যায় , আলেমদের ও মতামত তা ই।

আপনি তো ইংলিশের বারোটা বাজিয়ে দিয়েছেন, বাংলাতেই লিখেন। আপনি পাক কোরঅনের আয়াতেরও ভূল ব্যখ্যা করছেন।অনেকেই এটার ভূল ব্যাখ্যা দেয়, অনেকটা জেনেশুনেই। আপনি কিভাবে দিয়েছেন, তা আপনিই ভেবে দেখবেন। সূরা বাক্বারার ২৫৬ নং আয়াতে যেটা বলা হয়েছে, তা বলা হয়েছে বিধর্মীদের জোর করে ইসলাম ধর্ম গ্রহন করানো যাবেনা প্রসঙ্গে, অথচ সেটাকে আপনি ইসলামী শরীয়ত মানা না মানার সাথে গুলিয়ে ফেলেছেন। একটা উদাহরণ দেই -
আপনি বাংলাদেশের নাগরিক, তাই দেশের সংবিধান আপনাকে মানতে হবে। না মানলে আপনাকে দেশদ্রোহী আখ্যা দিয়ে বিচারে সোপর্দ করা হবে। আপনার এক বিদেশী বন্ধু আপনার দেশে আপনার সাথে দেখা করতে এসেছে। এখন এই বন্ধুর উপর আপনার দেশের সব আইন কানুন মানায় জোর জবরদস্তি নেই। সূরা বাক্বারার ২৫৬ নং আয়াতটিও ঠিক এ ব্যাপারটিই বুঝিয়েছে। মানে কোন বিধর্মীকে জোর করে মুসলমান বানানো যাবেনা, তবে যখন সে স্বেচ্ছায় ইসলাম ধর্ম গ্রহন করবে, তখন তাকে অবশ্যই ইসলামী শরীয়তের হুকুম আহকাম মেনে চলতে হবে, না চললে সে ধর্মদ্রোহী হবে।
সত্যিকার ইসলামী রাষ্ট্রে যেমন বেপর্দগীর জন্য শাস্তির বিধান হবে, তেমনি নামাজ রোযা ইত্যাদি ফরজ ইবাদতে গাফলতির জন্যও শাস্তির বিধান থাকবে। কারণ ইসলামী রাষ্ট্রের নাগরিক নামাজ না পাঠ করলে তাকে রাসূলের (সাঃ) এর জমানায় ও মুসলিম হিসেবে গন্য করা হতো না, সেজন্যই সে সময়কার মুনাফিকগনও ইসলামী দল হতে বহিষ্কারের ভয়ে নিয়মিত মসজিদে জামায়াতে নামাজ পাঠ করতো।
আমার মতে আজকালকার কলেজ ভার্সিটিতে পড়ুয়া মহিলা এবং অফিসে কর্মী মহিলাগনের জন্য বোরকা দ্বারা হিজাব পালন সহজতর পদ্ধতি। কারণ বাসে ওঠানামা, রিক্সায় বা অন্য যানবাহনে ওঠানামার সময় অসাবধানতাবশতঃ কামিজের নীচের অংশ বা শাড়ির আচল সরে গিয়ে পর্দার ঘোর লঙ্ঘন হয়ে যায়। বিশেষতঃ বর্তমানের মেয়েদের খাটো টাইট কামিজ যার দু দিকে কোমরের নীচ থেকেই ফাড়া (অনেকটা সেমিজের সাইজ) পরে বাইরে বেরুনো অর্ধনগ্নর মতোই, কারণ গাড়ীতে উঠানামা ছাড়াও সামান্য বাতাসেই কামিজের নীচের অংশ বাতাসে উড়ে তার নিতম্ব পুরোটাই পুরুষের দৃষ্টিগোচর করিয়ে ছাড়ে। অনেকের কামিজ এমন টাইট যে কোমর হতে দু পাশ কাটা থাকার কারণে বাতাস ছাড়াও তার দুপাশের মাংশল রান বের হয়ে থাকে, যা খুবই দৃষ্টিকটু। এদিকে ধর্মভীরু পরিবারের মুরুব্বীদের দৃষ্টি আকর্ষন করছি।

হেজাব/বোরকা আর আরবী লেখার খিস্তি গেয়ে বাংলাদেশে সুবিধা করতে পারবে না । বাংলাদেশে মেয়েরা যেমন খুশী তেমন পোষাক পরবে, এটা মেয়েদের স্বাধীনতা ।ঐ সব হেজাব-টেজাব কেউ পছন্দ করে না । বাংলাদেশ সেকুলার বাঙ্গালীর দেশ, ৭১ সালেই বাঙ্গালীরা হেজাব/বোরকা আর আরবী খিস্তি ঝারু মেরে বিদায় করেছে ।

Sura Bakara verse 256-- Dhormey Kono Jor Jobordosti nai That mean no force pressure or stress in religion and I am 100% correct. So don't give mis explanation about this verse.
It is not only applicable for other believer it is also for Muslim. I don't care your explanation. Lot of Islami scholar explain it this way. This explanation is not my personal opinion. No need to think you are correct. So you like to say --- Dhormai Gor jobordosti ashea Musolman de jonnoo!!!!!
It is matter of common sense one religion can force or not force on only it's believer not other believer. No question to force others.

এ যুগে মেয়াদের বোরকা একটা আজব ধরনের চিন্তা ভাবনা । এই বোরকা পরে কোন মেয়েই তার দৈনন্দিন কাজ কর্ম করতে পারবে না, এমন কি এই পোষাক পরে ঘড়ের ভিতর বসে থাকাও সম্ভন না । এত জুব্বা-জুব্বি সারা দিন কে সামাল দিবে ? অতএব যারা বোরকা নিয়ে এত হৈ চৈ করেছেন, তাদের কে বলছি(বিশেষ করে পুরুষদের) বোরকা মেয়েদের পোষাক এবং মেয়েলি ব্যাপার । এটা নিয়ে মেয়েদের ভাবতে দিন, এখানে পুরুষের নাক গলানোর প্রয়োজন নেই । তা ছাড়া ধর্ম মানুষের ব্যাক্তিগত বিষয়, ধর্ম নিয়ে বেশি বাড়াবাড়ি করলে মানুষ ধর্ম থেকে দুরে সরে যাবে এবং এটাই নিয়ম।

Since you did not cite any dictionary or encyclopedia or any other form of reference at your choice, it is reasonable to say that you invented the word �sex balance� to mean �Jouno Bharsammo�. If your theory �weaker sex balance of men than women� is well established and widely accepted then there should be some writings or articles. Can you show me at least one article, writing, or publication to justify your theory? My educated guess is that you are trying to mean something different by �sex balance� but you are unable to explain it properly because of your weak English. From your writing, it is clear that English is not your first language like almost all of us. But we do not invent word like you. Does your invented word make any sense? In this case, the way you using your invented word �sex balance� do not make any sense. Since you can not clearly express yourself in English, you should write in Bangla. Where did you get the information?
Do you know the statistics of women rape in the western world?
Compared the statistics of rape cases of western world such as, Canada, USA, and Australia with the barbaric (?) Arab world. I highly doubt if you even live in the western world. If you live in the world then you should know better. In western world, almost all of the boys/girls have boyfriends/girlfriends and almost all of them engage in dating and sexual activities at early ages since there is no restriction (in most part) from parents or society as a whole. So, in western world, sex without marriage is very common. Whereas in a Muslim society, boyfriends/girlfriends, dating, sex without marriage are not widely accepted. Men and women in Muslim society are deprived of sexual activities unless they are married. But still the rapes cases are significantly higher in western world than barbaric Arab (?) or Muslim world. I am sure you will agree with me that Muslim countries have very few AIDS patients than any other western countries in the world. They engaged in sexual activities worst ways possible! Western countries should have rare rape cases because of the boyfriends/girlfriends, sexual activities without marriage, dating, sexual education and awareness as early as in middle school. However, the statistics says opposite. It is true that all rape cases in Muslim countries are not reported. But not because of the Sharia laws you pointed out. Sharia laws do not exist everywhere. How many countries have Sharia laws? I must say that all of the rape cases in western countries are not reported or come to the media either. So, do not give wrong information and mislead people.
I know you will not agree with me that Muslim countries in general have some moral and religious values that western countries do not. You never talk about or find anything good in Muslim and Muslim countries or Islam rather. You denigrate them whenever possible through connecting them to Taliban or any other worst way possible. You claim that you are a Muslim but you do not serve the purpose of Muslim. I must say you serve the purpose of non-Muslim.

সেক্সচুয়ালিটি : হিউম্যান সেক্সচুয়ালিটি একটি স্বাভাবিক ও চলমান প্রক্রিয়া এবং গড-গিফটেড। এটাকে আইন করে কখনো বন্ধ করা যায় না, তাই পশ্চিমা বিশ্বে আধুনিক মন-বিজ্ঞানের আলোকেই হিউম্যান সেক্সচুয়ালিটির স্বাভাবিক গতিকে আইন করে বন্ধ করা হয় নাই । যার ফলে পশ্চিমা বিশ্বে সেক্সচুয়ালিটি একটা সুস্হ ও স্বাভাবিক প্রক্রিয়ার মধ্যে অবস্হান করছে । এর পরও কানাডা-আমেরিকার মত দেশ ধর্ষনের মত ঘটনা থেকে মুক্ত নয় । তবে এ সব দেশে প্রতিটি ধর্ষনের ঘটনা রির্পোটেড এবং একাউন্টেবল, আমার ২০ বছরের ক্যানাডিয়ান অভিজ্ঞতা তাই বলে । এখানে ধর্ষনের যে সব ঘটনা ঘটে তার বেশি ভাগই ডেটিং রেপ, এগুলো এমন না যে, বাংলাদেশ/পাকিস্তানের মত রাস্তা থেকে মেয়েদের তুলে নিয়ে ধর্ষন বা গন ধর্ষন করা হয়। এরকম ঘটনা যৎ সামান্য ।
কিন্তু বেশি ভাগ মুসলিম দেশে বিশেষ করে বর্বর আরব দেশে আইন করে সেক্স আউট অব ম্যারেজ বন্ধ করা হয়েছে যেটাকে হিউম্যান সাইকোলজী/সেক্সোলজী কখনো সমর্থন করে না । কারন যখন একটা গড-গিফটেড প্রবোনতাকে স্বাভাবিক গতিতে চলতে দেয়া হয় না তখন সেখানে সেক্স-পার্ভাটনেস(বিকৃিত) এর জন্ম হয়, আর এই বিকৃতির শিকার নারীও পুরুষ উভয়েই । যার ফলে বর্বর আরবদেশে বহু বিবাহ , বয়সের ব্যাবধানে(পুরুষের ক্ষেত্রে) বিবাহ নিত্যমৈনত্ত্বিক ঘটনা, যা আধুনিক মনবিজ্ঞানের আলোকে ধর্ষনের চেয়েও খারাপ । তাছড়া বর্বর আরব দেশ ও মুসলিম দেশে গোপন যৌনাচার( সেক্স স্নিকিং ) আরো একটি নিত্যমৈনত্ত্বিক ঘটনা । বর্বর আরব দেশে নিম্ন/মধ্য/উচ্চ বিত্ত পরিবারে হাউজ মেইড(কাজের বুয়া) এর সাথে গৃহ কর্তার গোপন সেক্স ঐ সমাজে একটা দৈনন্দি গৃহস্তালি ব্যাপার । এগুলো চার দেয়ালের ভিতর হালাল ।এ রকম গোপন সেক্স বাংলাদেশ ও পকি-সয়তান এর মত দেশে ইদানিং অহরহ ঘটছে। এবং এ জাতিয় সেক্স-রেপ নেভার রির্পোটেড । যেটা পশ্চিমা বিশ্বে কল্পোনাও করা যায় না ।
আরেক টা কথা আপনাকে বুঝতে হবে যে, পশ্চিমা বিশ্বে লিভ-টুগেদার ঐ দেশের আইনে স্বিকৃত । এখানে লিভ-টুগেদার করা পুরুষ ও মেয়েকে " কমন ল স্পাউস " বলা হয় । তাছাড়া এ দেশে দুই জন প্রাপ্ত বয়স্কো পুরুষ ও নারীর একে অপরের প্রতি ভাল লাগার কারনে যে মিলন ঘটে তা কখনো জেনা বা রেপের প্রর্যায়ে বিবেচনা করা হয় না এবং মন-বিজ্ঞান তাই বলে ।
মুসলিম দেশেও আনেক এইডস রোগি আছে তবে তা রির্পোটেড না । যেমন ডুবাই , ইজিপ্ট , পাকি-সয়তান ও বাংলাদেশে আনেক এইডস রোগি আছে তবে হয়তো বড় জোর ১০% রির্পোটেড , যেটা কানাডা/আমেরিকাতে ১০০% রির্পোটেড ।

Why you only concern of the word Sex Balance it mean Bharsammomo or control. If I say Gymnast has better body balance than non gymnast people. Then I have to give your reference what I mean by body balance. Body balance mean body control similarly sex or mental or what ever balance mean control on those things,. Instead of understanding the jist of my comment why you chasing word balance. You acknowledge due to the social and cultural condition poor or Muslim country's rape cases or statistics aren't the authentic. Statistics base on reported incidents but number of un reported incidents are huge. As long as the 100% rape cases never reported in these countries then we can't say it is higher in the develop country. In maximum case rapist are those peoples who don't have skill to make good relationship with women or maniac or too much rough & tough behaviour which hated by women. In Australia maximum rapist coming from Lebanese community and these community is the highest in this case. Few days ago one rape case become so highlighted when an Indian taxi driver rape his passenger and then bash her. You have written a good article. It’s very important that we understand the meaning of the quranic verses after doing proper research, A verse may have many interpretations. Especially the of dress code of women is extremely sensitive and most common interpretation have bias against women, where women were considered as a private property of men which must be covered from toe to foot like a banned item. Allah hasn’t meant this. Modesty is the essence of both men and women dress code as described in the Quran. Quran is very clear about the dress code for the believers. Innovations and fabrication intorduced Hijab (veil) to Islam (submission.) Hijab (veil) is a traditional, not religious head cover that dates back to ancient civilizations, and is not supported or advocated by the Quran.
INTRODUCTION:
God, the Most Gracious, Most Merciful, insists on making His religion easy, practical and enjoyable for His true believers. God also told us that those who reject Him or His books are making life miserable for themselves and for their loved ones who follow in their footsteps.
He reminds us in the Quran that He has placed no hardship on us in practicing our religion (see 22:78).
THREE RULES FOR WOMEN DRESS CODE IN ISLAM
FIRST RULE : THE BEST GARMENT
[7:26] "O children of Adam, we have provided you with garments to cover your bodies, as well as for luxury. But the best garment is the garment of righteousness. These are some of GOD's signs, that they may take heed."
This is the BASIC rule of DRESS CODE in the Quran. This is the first rule in WOMEN DRESS CODE in Islam (Submission).
SECOND RULE : COVER YOUR BOSOMS
The second rule can be found in 24:31. Here God orders the women to cover their bosoms whenever they dress up. But before quoting 24:31 let us review some crucial words that are always mentioned with this topic, namely "Hijab" and "Khimar"
THE WORD "HIJAB" in the QURAN
"Hijab" is the term used by many Muslims women to describe their head cover that may or may not include covering their face except their eyes, and sometimes covering also one eye. The Arabic word "Hijab" can be translated into veil or yashmak. Other meanings for the word "Hijab" include, screen, cover(ing), mantle, curtain, drapes, partition, division, divider.
Can we find the word "Hijab" in the Quran??
The word "Hijab" appeared in the Quran 7 times, five of them as "Hijab" and two times as "Hijaban," these are 7:46, 33:53, 38:32, 41:5, 42:51, 17:45 & 19:17.
None of these "Hijab" words are used in the Quran in reference to what the traditional Muslims call today (Hijab) as a dress code for the Muslim woman.
God knows that generations after Muhammed's death the Muslims will use the word "Hijab" to invent a dress code that He never authorized. God used the word "Hijab" ahead of them just as He used the word "Hadith" ahead of them.
Hijab in the Quran has nothing to do with the Muslim Women dress code.
HISTORICAL BACKGROUND:
While many Muslims call "Hijab", an Islamic dress code, they completely ignore the fact that, Hijab as a dress code has nothing to do with Islam and nothing to do with QURAN.
"Hijab" or veil can be traced back to early civilizations. It can be found in early and late Roman and Greek art. The evidence can be seen in archeological discoveries whether in pottery fragments, paintings or recorded civil laws. In Greco-Roman culture, both women and men wore head covering in religious contexts. The tradition of wearing the veil (by women) and the headcover (by men) was then adopted by the Jews who wrote it in the Talmud (Talmud equals the Hadiths and Sunna, neither are the words of God) then the Christians adopted the same. A well respected Rabbi once explained to a group of Jewish young women, "We do not find a direct command in the Torah mandating that women cover their heads, but we do know that this has been the continuing custom for thousands of years." After the prophet Muhammad's death , the writers of the hadith books adopted and encouraged the ancient tradition of head covering. Hadith book' writers took after the Jews as they did with many other traditions , and alleged them to the prophet since the Quran did not command it.
Any student of the Jewish traditions or religious books will see that head cover for the Jewish woman (and men) has been encouraged by the Rabbis and religious leaders. Observant Jewish women still cover their heads most of the time and specially in the synagogues, weddings, and religious festivities.
Christian women cover their heads in many religious occasions while the nuns cover their heads all the time.
As we can expect the traditional Arabs, of all religions, Jews, Christians and Muslims used to wear head cover, or "Hijab," not because of Islam, but because of tradition. In Saudi Arabia, up to this day most of the men cover their heads , not because of Islam but because of tradition.
North Africa is known for its Tribe (Tuareg) that have the Muslim men wearing "Hijab" instead of women. Here the tradition has the hijab in reverse. If wearing Hijab is the sign of the pious and righteous Muslim woman, Mother Teresa would have been the first woman to be counted.
In brief, hijab is a traditional dress and has nothing to do with Islam or religion. In certain areas of the world, men are the ones who wear the hijab while in others the women do.
Mixing religion with tradition is a form of idolworship, since the followers of traditions are following laws from sources other than God's scriptures and claim it to be from God. Idolworship is the only unforgivable sin if maintained till death.
Ignoring what God asks you to do in His book, or following innovated laws not stated in the the Quran, is a clear sign of disregarding God and His message.
When tradition supersedes God's commandment, the true religion takes a second place. God never accepts to be second, God has to be always the FIRST and to HIM there is no second.
THE WORD "KHIMAR" in the QURAN:
"Khimar" is an Arabic word that can be found in the Quran in 24:31 While the first basic rule of Dress Code for the Muslim Women can be found in 7:26, the second rule of the DRESS CODE FOR WOMEN can be found in 24:31. Some Muslims quote verse 31 of sura 24 as containing the Hijab, or head cover, by pointing to the word, khomoorehenna, (from Khimar), forgetting that God already used the word Hijab, several times in the Quran. Those blessed by God can see that the use of the word "Khimar" in this verse is not for "Hijab" or for head cover. Those who quote this verse usually add (Head cover) (veil) after the word Khomoorehenna, and usually between ( ), because it is their addition to the verse not God's.
"Khimar" is an Arabic word that means, cover, any cover, a curtain is a Khimar, a dress is a Khimar, a table cloth that covers the top of a table is a Khimar, a blanket can be used as a Khimar..etc. The word KHAMRA used for intoxicant in Arabic has the same root with Khimar, because both covers, the Khimar covers (a window, a body, a table . . . etc.) while KHAMRA covers the state of mind. Most of the translators, obviously influenced by Hadith (fabrications) translate the word as VEIL and thus mislead most people to believe that this verse is advocating the covering of the head.
In 24:31 God is asking the women to use their cover (khimar)( being a dress, a coat, a shawl, a shirt, a blouse, a tie, a scarf . . . etc.) to cover their bosoms, not their heads or their hairs. If God so willed to order the women to cover their heads or their hair, nothing would have prevented Him from doing so. GOD does not run out of words. GOD does not forget. God did not order the women to cover their heads or their hair.
God does not wait for a Scholar to put the correct words for Him!
The Arabic word for CHEST, GAYB is in the verse (24:31), but the Arabic words for HEAD, (RAAS) or HAIR, (SHAAR) are NOT in the verse. The commandment in the verse is clear - COVER YOUR CHEST OR BOSOMS, but also the fabrication of the scholars and most of the translators is clear by claiming- cover your head or hair.
The last part of the verse (24:31) translates as, "They shall not strike their feet when they walk in order to shake and reveal certain details of their bodies." The details of the body can be revealed or not revealed by the dress you wear, not by your head cover.
Notice also the expression in 24:31,
"They shall not reveal any parts of their bodies, except that which is necessary."
This expression may sound vague to many because they have not understood the mercy of God. Again God here used this very general term to give us the freedom to decide according to our own circumstances the definition of "What is necessary".
It is not up to a scholar or to any particular person to define this term. God wants to leave it personal for every woman and no one can take it away from her. Women who follow the basic rule number one i.e. righteousness, will have no problem making the right decision to reveal only which is necessary.
The word "zeenatahunna" in this verse refers to the woman's body parts (beauty) that can be exaggerated by the movement of the body while walking and not to the artificial ornaments and decorations as some people interpret it or translate it. At the end of the verse, God told the women not to strike with their feet to show their "zeenatahunna." Striking the feet while walking can emphasize , exaggerate or shake certain parts of the body that do not need to be emphasized. It is important to remember that striking the feet while walking does not have this effect on the head, hair or face, they are not part of what God calls in this verse the hidden zeena.
Accepting orders from anybody but God, means idol-worship. That is how serious the matter of Hijab/khimar is. Women who wear Hijab because of tradition or because they like it for personal reasons commit no sin, as long as they know that it is not part of this perfect religion. Those who are wearing it because they think God ordered it are committing Idol-worship, as God did not order it, the scholars did. These women have found for themselves another god than the One who revealed the Quran, complete, perfect and FULLY detailed to tell them they have to cover their heads to be Muslims.
Idol-worship is the only unforgivable sin, if maintained till death, 4:48.
THIRD RULE : LENGTHEN YOUR GARMENTS
The first regulation of DRESS CODE for Muslim women is in 7:26, the second is in 24:31 and the third is in 33:59
"O prophet, tell your wives, your daughters, and the wives of the believers that they shall LENGTHEN their garments. Thus, they will be recognized and avoid being insulted. God is Forgiver, Most Merciful." 33:59
In 33:59, God sets the other regulation for the dress code for the Muslim women during the prophet's life.
Although the verse is talking to the prophet which means this regulation applies to the time of the prophet, just like the order in 49:2, the description fits the spirit of Islam (Submission in English), and can teach us a great deal.
If you reflect on this verse and how God ordered the prophet to tell his wives, his daughters and the wives of the believers to lengthen their garments, you would understand the great wisdom of the MOST WISE, the MOST MERCIFUL. In this verse, God, DELIBERATELY, (and all the TRUE believers know that everything GOD says, does, or did is DELIBERATE) said, tell them, to lengthen their garments, and never said how long is long. God could have said tell them to lengthen their garments to their ankles or to their mid-calf or to their knees, but HE DID NOT. He did not, OUT OF HIS MERCY, not because HE FORGOT as God does not forget. God knows that we will be living in different communities and have different cultures and insists that the minor details of this dress code will be left for the people of every community to hammer for themselves.
It is clear from the above verses that the DRESS CODE for the Muslim women (Submitters) according to the Quran is righteousness and modesty. God knows that this modesty will be understood differently in different communities and that is why He left it open to us to decide for ourselves. Decide, after righteousness what is modesty. Modesty for a woman who lives in New York may not be accepted by a woman who lives in Cairo Egypt. Modesty of a woman who lives in Cairo, Egypt may not be accepted by a woman who lives in Saudi Arabia.
Modesty of a woman who lives in Jidda in Saudi Arabia may not be accepted by a woman who lives in a desert oasis in the same country. This difference in the way we perceive modesty is well known to God, He created us, and He put NO hardship on us in this great religion. He left it to us to decide what modesty would be. For any person, knowledgeable or not to draw a line and make conclusion for God about the definition of modesty is to admit that he/she knows better than God.
God left it open for us and no-one has the authority to restrict it, it has to stay open.
CONCLUSION:
God, the Most Merciful, gave us three basic rules for the Dress Code for Women in Islam (Submission),
(1) The BEST garment is the garment of righteousness.
(2) Whenever you dress , cover your chest (bosoms).
(3) Lengthen your garment.
While these three BASIC rules may not sound enough for those who do not trust God, the TRUE believers know that God is ENOUGH. God could have given us more details to the point of having graphs, designs and color rules, but He , the Most Merciful, wants to give us exactly these very basic rules and leave the rest for us. After these three basic rules every woman is more aware of her circumstances and can adjust her dress for her situation. Any addition to these basic Quranic rules is an attempt to correct God or improve on His merciful design.
We have no obligation to follow but God's rules, just as His messenger did all the time. Innovations and fabrications that added thousands of rules to the women dress code are nothing but idol-worship and should be refused.
